Can someone give me a hand?
I know that php is installed and enabled on my mac (OSX panther, latest release)
but a test.php document I created doesn't work
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
nothing.
I know how it is to see a post like this one, because I see them all the time in my
"homes" in the flash community. Once in a while I answer something like this. Can you?
I navigate to the file on my mac by putting my http:// into the browser.
The closest I got were two things:
1 - the default apache page 'seeing this instead of what you were looking for?' When I
moved this default page elsewhere and replaced it with my index.php file (from above) i was denied
access.
2 - a cached(old) index page opened up even though it's been removed from the trash for a week.
I'm sorry about this post. I don't think I will be trying to use my apache server anymore
so I can test locally. But if anyone can shed any light on this I would be greatly appreciative.
