It appears that in Apache > 1.3.29 (and maybe earlier?) the httpd.conf file no longer needs to
have an "AddModule" directive for the php module. The LoadModule directive seems to take
care of this for you. It gives an error like so, if you include it.

../bin/apachectl start: httpd started
