The documentation does not say weather consts are automatically public are not, but apparently they are. It also does not say whether they are automatically static or not, but I would hope that they are. Adding either static or public to a const declared object results in a compile time error, and apparently there is no way to make these private to the class. I wish the docs would explain this a little more. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop5.constants.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+47211 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47211&report=yes Reason: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47211&report=yes&reason=bad+code Reason: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47211&report=yes&reason=spam Reason: useless example -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47211&report=yes&reason=useless+example Reason: contains commercial links -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47211&report=yes&reason=contains+commercial+links Reason: useless note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47211&report=yes&reason=useless+note Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+47211&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
