Yeah, need to take a dump via php myself, too. It's all very ugly but what about a system call... <? system("mysqldump --add-drop-table -u <user> -p<pass> DB > dump.sql"); ?> ...this wrote the dump into the folder where the php script resides. ;) if it works at my boss's provider i'm happy.
