Unserialize is a fast function. If you want to store an array there are two ways: the traditional way or using serialize function. The first one (the traditional way) is to write the structure of the array in php format and store it in .php files and then include the file in your code. But this way is actually slower than using unserialize since "include" or "require" is a slow process. Unserialize is about twice as fast (rough estimation after some simple benchmarking). ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.unserialize.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+47678 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47678&report=yes Reason: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47678&report=yes&reason=bad+code Reason: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47678&report=yes&reason=spam Reason: useless example -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47678&report=yes&reason=useless+example Reason: contains commercial links -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47678&report=yes&reason=contains+commercial+links Reason: useless note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+47678&report=yes&reason=useless+note Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+47678&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
