Call me crazy, but it seems to me that if you use this function, even WITH the prefix, then you might as well just turn register_globals back on... Sooner or later, somebody will find a "hole" with your prefixed variables in an un-initialized variable. Better to import precisely the variables you need, and initialize anything else properly. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.import-request-variables.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+48077 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48077&report=yes Reason: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48077&report=yes&reason=bad+code Reason: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48077&report=yes&reason=spam Reason: useless example -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48077&report=yes&reason=useless+example Reason: contains commercial links -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48077&report=yes&reason=contains+commercial+links Reason: useless note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48077&report=yes&reason=useless+note Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+48077&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
