Tried this on a win2kpro with apache 2 installed.
$path = "C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Desktop\example.gif"
$file = basename($path); // outputs example.gif
When attempting the same code on a linux with apache 1.3.33(unix) I get "C:\\Documents and
Settings\\Admin\\Desktop\\example.gif" as output.
Any idea why?
