Here's a quick little function to return just the name of the current working directory (rather
than the full path).
function curdir() {
$dir = substr(getcwd(), strrpos(getcwd(),"\\")+1, strlen(getcwd()));
return $dir;
}
NOTE: change the "\\" to "\/" for non-windows systems.
