The only thing that annoys me about PHP is when you start building large projects with lots of include files - parameter checking across files is difficult, as is checking for uniqueness of names. Some languages solve this by a compiation stage, some by use of namespaces. If it were possible to include a library of functions within a class (see rebekah-at-newcars-dot-com's comment above - but note that subclassing does not resolve the error) then it would provide a simple way to implement namespaces in PHP. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.include.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+48552 Delete -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48552&report=yes Reason: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48552&report=yes&reason=bad+code Reason: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48552&report=yes&reason=spam Reason: useless example -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48552&report=yes&reason=useless+example Reason: contains commercial links -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48552&report=yes&reason=contains+commercial+links Reason: useless note -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+48552&report=yes&reason=useless+note Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+48552&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
