Here is a great function for HTTP GET:

$urlvar = array(0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0);
$numElements=count($urlvar);
for($counter=0; $counter < $numElements; $counter++){
if($_GET['v'.$counter]){$urlvar[$counter]=$_GET['v'.$counter];}
}
?>
It takes 11 Vars from the URL and converts them to variables (in the array $urlvar). URL is
formatted as FileName.php?v0=enterdata&v1=moredata&v2= etc...
