if you want to upload a very large file (~90.0MB), action which lasts several seconds, but the
script finishes its execution after a couple of miliseconds, you cannot close the connection with
ftp_close().
the script continues to run until the max_execution_time is exceeded. at the end only a fraction of
the file will be uploaded.
I tested the script several times and all the other ftp-functions seemed to work well.
all of these on IIS/6.0, php 4.3.3
<?
$con = ftp_connect("ftp_server");
ftp_login($con,"user","pass");
ftp_chdir($con,"target_dir");
ftp_nb_put($con,"test.iso","test.iso",FTP_BINARY);
......
// other operations
......
if (ftp_nb_continue($con) != FTP_FINISHED)
ftp_close($con);
?>
