note 47460 deleted from ref.memcache by nlopess

Note Submitter: sj26 at sj26 dot com ---- I have created a pure PHP version of this extension (with exactly the same implementation), and am working on a PHP class that manages Memcache objects and load-balances requests. This has the advantage over the official PHP version in that it uses this PHP extension, if available, which speeds things up dramatically. I am also working on faster/better load-balancing algorithms - the current implementation does not efficiently recover from a server going down, whereas mine will.
