if you are trying to use $php_errormsg, it acts more like a function than it does a variable. example echo "
"; $php_errormsg; echo "
"; will output:
[the php error]
however, this command echo "
" . $php_errormsg . "
"; should produce the same thing, yet it produces [the php error]

not sure if this is a "feature" or a "bug" ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.variables.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+49165 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49165&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49165&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49165&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49165&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49165&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+49165&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
