Note Submitter: webmaster at scqcc dot cl ---- Hi, first post here, trying to apport to this manual. OK. to the issue. in the last 48 hrs. I testing all the mail() forms and sendmail functions posted here, but nothing resolve the issue of the helo=hostpc and from 'user' and ip of the email sender. I really take this in my priority of develop php scripts for my site, for the SPF thing and my mailing list of visits and clients. I have a MySQL DB with this list and php scripts for send the mails, register, news, etc. but I never take in consideration the user who send this email (in this case Linux Fedora, exim and sendmail) always appears nobody, this is no a really problem (for now), but in a lot of free email remote servers like hotmail, yahoo and others this user and mailing list is considerated bulk mail of spam, and I specify the -f username command for try to resolve a real username sending true emails, etc. but nothing works. Now here I present a recompilation of all the headers for try to works this thing: <? $header = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n"; $header .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n"; $header .= "Organization: ".$org_var."\r\n"; $header .= "Content-Transfer-encoding: 8bit\r\n"; $header .= "To: ".$emailto."\r\n"; $header .= "From: ".$org_var." <".$mail.">\r\n"; $header .= "Reply-To: ".$org_var." <".$mail.">\r\n"; $header .= "Message-ID: <".md5(uniqid(time()))."@{$_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']}>\r\n"; $header .= "Return-Path: ".$mail."\r\n"; $header .= "X-Priority: 1\r\n"; $header .= "X-MSmail-Priority: High\r\n"; $header .= "X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook, Build 11.0.5510\r\n"; //hotmail and others dont like PHP mailer. $header .= "X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1441\r\n"; $header .= "X-Sender: ".$mail."\r\n"; $header .= "X-AntiAbuse: This is a solicited email for - ".$org_var." mailing list.\r\n"; $header .= "X-AntiAbuse: Servername - {$_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']}\r\n"; $header .= "X-AntiAbuse: User - ".$mail."\r\n"; $extra_header = "-f".$domain_user; //this is the User of the machine or hosting account. ?> The thing now, is how to solve the issue of the SPF stuff and working 'user' who through the script send the email, and make the email valid and no considerated as spam. I hope this headers help some one.
