It is becoming increasingly clear that it is NOT possible to upgrade from v.4.x to v.5.x in any
version of Red Hat Linux (up to the final v.9 - Shrike). It is similarly not possible to upgrade
from RH9's default v.4.2.2 installation to the more secure v.4.3.10.
I eagerly await correction on either or both of these statements.
