Note that for the 'Type 3:' example code both: call_user_func(array(&$obj, 'myCallbackMethod')); AND call_user_func(array($obj, 'myCallbackMethod')); work. I dont know why the example code is passing a reference/address by passing &$obj when the explanation in the text describes it passing only $obj(the actual instantiated object itself) ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.pseudo-types.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+49491 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49491&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49491&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49491&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49491&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49491&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+49491&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
