To get multiple selected (with "multiple" ) lists in <select> tag, make sure that the "name" attribute is added to braces, like this: <select multiple="multiple" name="users[]"> <option value="foo">Foo</option> <option value="bar">Bar</option> </select> When submitted to PHP file (assume that you have a complete form) it will return an array of strings. Otherwise, it will just return the last element of the <select> tag you selected. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.variables.external.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+49574 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49574&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49574&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49574&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49574&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+49574&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+49574&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
