I encountered a similar error to that reported by Derek (09-Feb-2004 01:03). I was getting spaces in
messages sent with HTML formatting, which meant the HTML was sometimes wrong due to spaces between
the < and the tag.
I solved it using the wordwrap function too. Something along these lines was perfect:
$body = "<html><body>".wordwrap((nl2br($message).$links),
100)."</body></html>";
$sent = mail($to, $subject, $body, $headers);
