Dear developers.
I experience serious problems running PHP scripts in MS Windows XP using MS Internet Explorer 6.0
above. Because of XP is equipped with powerful caching, any previously fetched pages will be
obtained directly from the cache (ie. pages cached into the local PC hard disk) without
interrogating/fetching freshly from the Server as intended. As such, user new orderings, which occur
in other page, do not exhibit in those previously cached pages!! It seems like bug!!! Actually, it
is not bugs. It is the Windows XP caching mechanism contribute to this bug like problems. Precisely,
my same PHP script work perfectly with Firefox as the browser is obediently fetching from the
Server rather obtaining the known page from the cache! There could be a flag to direct MS Internet
Explorer to by-pass the cache and fetch directly from the server as Firefox usually do!! ASP script
has the flag to control the browser to fetch from the server. Does the PHP script has the flag?????
Please help and share with me this solution via my email address as listed. Thanks!!!!
