note 50841 deleted from features.file-upload by nlopess

Everything worked fine and i was able to upload files up to 600 mb.(on a pentium 2 ,running apache 2.0,mysql and php 4.3.10) When I tried to upload bigger files it freezed so i moved the apache,php and mysql to a pentium 3 server. Everything goes well up to 1.2 GB,then the browser crashes. Timeouts are set to more then one hour and i'm uploading at 7 mb/sec on a 100 mbit lan so that can't be the problem. Is this a hardware or memory capacity problem(maybe someting with the upload to the tmp file when i submit the form cause the php only writes the tmp file when the upload is finished) and my server has only 512 mb ram
