Note Submitter: tpoetter at uos dot de ---- If you want to add the mysql-ext under apache 2, WinXP, php5 as module, mysql, you have to copy the libmysql.dll from the MySQL-distribution (located in the bin-dir) into the root of your Apache installation. Additionally you have to give the absolute path to your php-ext dir in php.ini. This way apache accepts the php-mysql-ext and will not display the misleading error message: extension .. not found.
