----
In case you want the time() interval of a week, i've used it recently
$Monday= mktime(0, 0, 0, date("m") , date("d")-(date('w',time())-1),
date("Y"));
$Friday = mktime(23, 59, 59, date("m",$Monday) , date("d",$Monday)+4,
date("Y",$Monday));
