I'm using PHP 4.3.1 and I'm serializing an object, shoving it into a MySQL DB and then pulling it back out. The class definition is included on the page which unserializes the object and guess what? It STILL comes out as a stdClass object. No methods. No unitialized properties. Just a big old ugly, unusable generic object. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.oop.serialization.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+51033 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51033&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51033&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51033&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51033&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51033&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+51033&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
