As of php5.0.1 (win32), some of my scripts running socket_read() with the PHP_NORMAL_READ flag
ceased to function properly. I didn't have any problem of this type with php 4.x before. I kept
getting network errors 0 : Success on every read, while the function returned no manageable result
to deal with. Maybe there's some bug out there to investigate...
I managed to get them back working when i threw off the flag. Maybe it could help you too.
<?php
// Use this :
$res = socket_read ($socket,512);
// instead of this :
$res = socket_read ($socket,512,PHP_NORMAL_READ);
?>
