The code that you wrote doesnt work for sample xml like
<Test name='xyz'>
<TestCase type='all'>
<TestElement name='syn' comparison='eq' value='on' />
</TestCase>
</Test>
Here is the raw array structure:
Array
(
[Test] => Array
(
[0] => Array
(
[name] => xyz
)
)
)
You need to move the child checking loop after the else.
But that still has an issue, as when I moved it I got the following output

I see this new attribute [#text]. Could you please tell me how do i avoid that?
