Note Submitter: ccanis at crossw dot com ---- About the utility of session_encode() and session_decode() for building load-balanced servers farms with persistent sessions, I think a better approach should be to implement new session handling functions againts a database with session_set_handler(). It seems more transparent to the code writters and less prone to errors.
