I ran into the same problem with "last" as gabrielu at hotmail dot com (05-Apr-2005 10:45)
when using strtotime() with getdate(). My only guess is that it has to do with daylight savings time
as it seemed to be ok for most dates except those near the first Sunday in April and last Sunday in
October.
I used strftime() with strtotime() and that gave me the result I was looking for.
