note 51782 added to function.shell-exec

I found something odd. If you run exec then straight after shell_exec the shell_exec will simply not run and will return NULL. To get it to work i put a sleep(5) after the exec and now shell_exec works fine. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.shell-exec.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+51782 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51782&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51782&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51782&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51782&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51782&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+51782&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
