No we can not do that - as that will delete certain characters and break even more things as our manual is UTF-8. Derick
the utf8_encode() would remove non ISO-8859-1 chars, which shouldn't be many, because the notes are only in english. The problems I've seen arise in the name of the submiter, which can have some strange/different chars. Nuno
