It should be noted the values bound to a prepared statement with mysqli_stmt_bind_param() will automatically be properly escaped for the current database connection. Using mysqli_real_escape_string() or magic_quotes on these values will result in their being double-escaped, and cause unexpected results. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mysqli-stmt-bind-param.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+51981 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51981&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51981&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51981&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51981&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+51981&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+51981&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
