i am trying to differentiate between the results from passing "jan 2004" and "jan 21
2004". for some reason, if you do not specify a specific day, it uses the 21st of the month.
but i need to figure out that the user specifically entered only a month/year. anyone have a
solution for this besides implementing my own strtomonth() function?
