I am running PHP 5.x on Windows 2003 Server and I could connect to the SQL Server 2000 server fine
via the web interface, however, when I ran the same code on the command line it gave a "could
not connect to server" error. Above somebody stated that they had a copy of the ntwdblib.dll
file in their c:\php directory as well as in the system directory. If you remove the one in the
c:\php directory, then the problem is fixed.
