note 52471 added to install.windows.apache2

I have Windows XP Pro with Apache2.0.54 and PHP 5.0.34 version. paths is C:\Apache2 and C:\PHP I configured a file to test PHP in localhost <?php phpinfo (); ?> But when I type http://localhost/phpinfo.php I get a screen asking if I want to Open or save the file? When I was using Apache 1.3.? version, I never had this probem and it would show the php info. Why is it trying to treat it as a file?
