Installed PHP 5.0.3 with FreeTDS 0.63 on a Suse 9.3 Pro server.
The script could contact the database but couldn't authenticate.
Username field was empty when it was given to Sybase by FreeTDS (ASA error -140 was given back by
the database server, meaning that user '' was unknown...)
Upgrading PHP 5.0.4 eventually solved the problem.
