I spent a few hours scratching my head about why my server wouldn't strtotime dates with
literal month descriptions in them - in Swedish, "May" is written "maj". PHP
didn't understand this so for all may events it showed only blanks results. Did it the easy way
and changed the "Regional and Language Options" on my Win2k3 server to English for a quick
fix.
