I have a bit of a question regarding this FTP functionality, I have written a script that goes out to an MLS ftp site and downloads photo's from the ftp server, the thing that seems to boggle me is, the script runs for a long time (has been running 14 minutes as of this note). But in the php.ini I have max execution time set to 30 seconds, am I missing something? Is it allowed to run longer than the max execution time for some reason? If anyone could clarify this for me, that would be awesome, thanks. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.ftp.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+52944 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+52944&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+52944&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+52944&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+52944&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+52944&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+52944&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
