As Jason (jason@hspace.net) as demonstrated in his code example, there is a PHP database wrapper
class library that can connect to ADO available called ADODB.
It is available from http://php.weblogs.com/adodb and
supports many databases both on Windows and Linux.
Modelled after ADO, so it should be easy for Windows programmers to learn.
