The solution ian, from gmail, offered below has been confirmed. I apologize for the
misrepresentation. There were no release notes regarding this issue, and the changelog had one line
that did not fully describe what had changed. The workings of sprintf were changed on the release
of 4.3.7 and that is what was causing my issue.
