[Editor's note:
This is fixed in CVS, and should appear in the next release. Look at the bugs 7235, 7484 and 7683 at
bugs.php.net
Keeping this note here for informational purposes only, and will be removed as soon as the next
release comes out. The notes are *not* the place to report bugs.]
PHP 4.0.3 appears to be completely unable to destroy sessions. The session_destroy() function comes
back with "Session object destruction failed". Closing the browser doesn't kill the
session file either. I have not yet found a way to destroy a session, and its data.
BTW: session_unregister() has no effect on the session file; the variable is still there.
