Please that, if you're using fread to read from a http connection that it is *not* enough to call it once with a really large value for "length". The call may return with less data than available in the web. This even applies to downloading normal-size web pages from other servers. You'll need to put "fread" into a loop and check "feof" like other samples on this page suggest.
