Once ssh_shell is opened, subsequent ssh2_exec using the same ssh connection handle does not work. I
am not sure if this is a bug. Here is an example:

$con = ssh_connect('host', 'port');
ssh2_auth_password( $con, 'user', 'password'");
$shell = ssh2_shell( $this->con, 'xterm')
fwrite( $shell, 'ls -la ');
// this instruction will not work
$stream = ssh_exec( $con , 'ls -la');
?>
