Note Submitter: kasper___ at ___mali dot geekcorps dot org ---- If "pear install ssh2" gives you: No release with state equal to: 'stable' found for 'ssh2' You might try: pear config-set preferred_state beta pear install ssh2 If you get an error mentioning "phpize" you also might need to install some dev package, like php4-dev on Debian systems. Then there might also be an error mentioning libssh2, but it also indicates where to get it (libssh2.sf.net). Fetch the tar.gz, ./configure && make install it. Then you might need some more stuff like zlib1g-dev and cpp. And then I gave up for now with "configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check". P.S. I was just typing this while trying to get it right. It might make more sense to combine several apt-gets.
