EOT confusing error <?php echo <<<EOT some words EOT; ?> It will produce error, don't know why, but EOT give superb advantage in writing HTML with indentation. My current solution : just put "EOT;" on the first position of the line. Don't give any indentation, whether spaces or tabs. Like this <?php echo <<<EOT some words EOT; ?> Not pretty good explanation, but at least it works for rapid development :D. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.echo.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+54962 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54962&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54962&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54962&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54962&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54962&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54962&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+54962&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
