File Upload doesn't work with globals off! When register_globals was set to off on my server, with PHP Version 5.0.4, FreeBSD the upload function, move_uploaded_file, didn't work anymore! And I couldn't get it to work with $_POST Or extract($_POST) or whatever... The only way to get it to work again was to make a .htaccess file in the root with php_flag register_globals 1 in it. Or to set it to 1 again in php.ini... Is this maybe because move_uploaded_file makes special vars like someuploadvar_name? ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/security.globals.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+54996 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54996&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54996&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54996&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54996&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54996&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+54996&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+54996&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
