Please excuse me for posting the question here, but I think it would be really great to add some
documentation / comments on how to remove the autoquotes from GPC (and _REQUEST). There seems to be
a ten or so different solutions, and to those who don't have the resources to check them on
dozen different php configurations and versions, things look pretty dim. So, which solution is the
Correct One (tm)? So far, the most complete seems to be the one proposed by php at kaiundina dot de
@ 02-Feb-2005 07:18, but it may be incorrect for new versions of php.
I think php itself should have a function for removing these slashes. And for older versions, it may
be available through PHP_Compat or something.
