I am using the pdf2string() routine to parse pdf files using the results to feed to my own site
search engine.
Some files work just fine but some have problems.
I have narrowed it down to the following difference.
The pdf file I download from other sites work just fine. Pdf files that I have created (either with
print drivers such as PDFCreator or using the fpdf library in PHP) do not.
Specifically, the call to gzuncompress() is returning false and the following warning:
Debug Warning: c:\cwc\loudonnh\arch\pdfUtilities.php.inc line 122 - gzuncompress(): data error
Any thoughts? It is interesting that pdf file generated with BOTH the print driver and the fpdf
functions are exhibiting the same problem. I have done a lot of searching on the internet and can
not figure this one out.
Thanks!
