i use iconv_mime_decode_headers() to convert the headers which is recepted from our webmail server
the headers is sth like the follow sentences:
Delivered-To: postmaster@test.com Received: from 127.0.0.1 (HELO quarkmail.com) (envelope-from
postmaster@test.com) by localhost.localdomain (quarkmail-1.2.1) with SMTP id S299281AbVGOC0n for
postmaster@test.com; Fri, 15 Jul 2005 10:26:43 +0800 Message-ID: From: postmaster@test.com To:
postmaster@test.com Subject: "ÖйúÓʼþÍø"ÖØҪ֪ͨ!!! Date: Fri, 15 Jul
2005 10:26:42 +0800 X-Bcast: test.com X-Priority: 3 X-Save: postmaster@test.com:sent Content-Type:
text/plain; Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
the problem is the "Subject: ÖйúÓʼþÍøÖØҪ֪ͨ"
the subject is written by Chinese language --"GB2312"
if it is composed by two bytes codes(like Chinese) the return
variant array will lost something.
for example:
echo headers["Subject"]; // it shows ""
