I do not know why but: 1) After installing manually the PHP and edit the apache http.confg, you must restart the windows (windows 2000 server or windows 2003 server) .Just restarting apache does not work. This is visible if you run the phpinfo.php. You will see that the changes you made or location of the php.ini do not match. After restarting windows it will match. Then all changes you make to php.ini will be implementated immediatly after you restart apache. So, you only need to restart windows once. Do not forget to add the pach to php in the system environment of windows before restarting. 2) Do not try to put your files.php in the ScriptAlias directory of Apache. It will never work. I do not know why. For example create a Alias in http.conf /php-bin/ and put your php scripts there. ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.windows.manual.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+55556 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55556&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55556&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55556&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55556&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55556&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55556&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+55556&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
