setlocale(LC_ALL, "de_DE");
strftime("%d. %B %Y");
It could be that it doesn't work. Try "ge" instead of "de_DE".
setlocale(LC_ALL, "ge");
strftime("%d. %B %Y");
That will return "04. Dezember 2002"
