I am running into a form submission problem that I think relates to cURL. Page A is submitting text (method POST) and within the text we use the string "curl " in a sentance. As in "The animals would curl together". Page B being submitted to updates a db with this text. When "curl " is in any part of text sent by page A I get a 403 error "access forbidden" on page B. Note: I am in no way using cURL, at least I didn't intend to. I don't know anything about cURL and I don't admin the server, I just want to submit a knowledgable response when I talk to the admin about this. This is the only thing I could see that would cause text string "curl " submitted in a form to cause an error. How can this be prevented, is it a bad setup server side? ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.curl.php Edit -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+55830 Delete: added to the manual -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55830&report=yes&reason=added+to+the+manual Delete: bad code -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55830&report=yes&reason=bad+code Delete: spam -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55830&report=yes&reason=spam Delete: useless -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55830&report=yes&reason=useless Delete: non-english -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55830&report=yes&reason=non-english Delete: other reasons -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+55830&report=yes Reject -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+55830&report=yes Search -- http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
